Buddypress CSS and functionality issues

Hi - My buddypress has the following issues:
(example page: http://www.hausie.com/members/amy-cheng/profile/)

1) cover photo - it is not showing full width
2) profile fields are not aligned properly
3) profile page is showing "Comments" both on top and bottom - which I want to disable completely
4) when logged out - I cannot see Add Friend, Public Message, Private Message - this should still be visible when logged out, but prompt user to log in to proceed.
5) the Yoast SEO title/heading is not correct - it should say Amy Cheng Profile or something but instead it is fetching the title of my latest post.

Please advise.

Thanks!

    Hi @Hausie,

    Hope you are doing good today :slight_smile:

    1) cover photo - it is not showing full width

    #buddypress #item-header {
        width: 100%;
    }

    2) profile fields are not aligned properly

    It appears your theme does not have any predefined CSS for tables. You can use following generic CSS code to make it look better. You can also find more styles for tables with responsive on this link if you wish.

    /*
    Generic Styling, for Desktops/Laptops
    */
    table {
      width: 100%;
      border-collapse: collapse;
    }
    /* Zebra striping */
    tr:nth-of-type(odd) {
      background: #eee;
    }
    th {
      background: #333;
      color: white;
      font-weight: bold;
    }
    td, th {
      padding: 6px;
      border: 1px solid #ccc;
      text-align: left;
    }

    Add the above CSS code in style.css file of your child theme or use Simple Custom CSS plugin.

    For other questions, please create separate topic for separate issues according to our forum posting rules and get faster response.

    Also, I want to say your theme is not BuddyPress ready. I would suggest you to contact your theme author for further details (they might have better idea) or can switch to a BuddyPress ready theme.

    Take care and have a nice day :slight_smile:

    Cheers, Sajid
