    Hello bert,

It works fine but when i add a widget to my site it dont show the upcoming events. Is there a setting i am missing?

Please see explanation on how the widgets from this plugin are working https://premium.wpmudev.org/forums/topic/widget-group-events-showing-no-events-singles-do#post-1089132 depending on the settings of the groups – if its private or public.

If this is not the case can you grant support access so we can have a closer look at this?

To enable support access you can follow this guide here:

    http://premium.wpmudev.org/manuals/wpmu-dev-dashboard-enabling-staff-login/

    kind regards,

    Kasia

    Hi bert,

Hope you are doing good today.

i have 2 groups. one prived and one hidden. but both are not showing the events in the widgets

It seems like support access is disabled. To be sure, did you check this with the user account who is the member of the group? If you are still having issues, could you please enable support access so that we could give a closer look.

You can grant access from WPMU DEV > Support > Support Access > Grant Access, or check this manual: http://premium.wpmudev.org/manuals/wpmu-dev-dashboard-enabling-staff-login/

Please let us know once you enable access, so that we could get this sorted. Have a nice day.

    Kind Regards,

    Nithin

    Hi Nithin,

i start a public group and this group have the same problem. events dont show up in the widgets.

i have granted acces on my multisite. The main site is http://www.letsdobusiness.nl

The site with the problem is a subsite (ID3)

i cant find a way to give grant acces to the subsite, only to the multisite

is there a other way to give you acces?

also i use the plugin BP Multi Network because i need every subsite to have its own community.

can this plugin gives the problem? And if it is can i work around it? Your plugin buddypress group calendar can only be activate network wide. Not just on one of the subsites.

    Hi bert,

Hope you are doing good today.

I checked your subsite, and I can confirm it's not working, but I'm not able to replicate this issue in my system, and it's working fine. Even when i try to create a new group in your system, it ends up in an 404 error page.

This means that there is a conflict is your system, could you please run a quick plugin/theme conflict test as illustrated in getting support manual (flowchart), and rule out whether any plugin is causing this issue.

    http://premium.wpmudev.org/manuals/using-wpmu-dev/getting-support/

also i use the plugin BP Multi Network because i need every subsite to have its own community.

This plugin hasn't been updated for a while, last update is on 2014. So there could be conflict, but to be sure, would recommend to your go through the conflict test flowchart as shown above, and check whether this is the cause. If you are looking for an alternative, you could try: https://wordpress.org/plugins/bp-multi-network/

Please let us know how that goes, so that we could give a closer look. Have a nice day.

    Kind Regards,

    hi Nithin

i have done the testing. i deactived plugins and theme and test it over and over again. The problem is still the same. I know that bp multi network ist updated for a long time, but the developer said its working for wp 4.6 and the newest BP.

i also add groups and i have no 404. for my the group function is working normal.

also when i deactived the bp multi network plugin the problem is still there.

    Hi bert,

Hope you are doing good today.

The issue seems to be with BP Multisite Network plugin, as the BuddyPress group calendar plugin doesn’t seem to pick the multisite environment offered by BP Multisite Network plugin. If you disable BP Multisite Network plugin, you’ll notice in your subsite that the Groups are empty, and hence the plugin can only detect these empty groups, hence giving you a message There are no upcoming events for your groups.

I’m afraid there isn’t any out of the box settings available to make these plugins work together as there isn’t any integration available. I’ll ping the developer, and check whether there is any quick workaround. Please do note that developers work round the clock with many critical issues, and hence have a slow response time. Either myself, or the developer will keep you posted.

    Kind Regards,

    Nithin
