BuddyPress Subdomain Problem

Greetings,

I have our BuddyPress on a multisite install of WP3 (RC1) set to its own subdomain via the bb-custom.php setting and that works fine. (Set at http://fan.website.com)

However, some URLs are not functioning well because they still direct back to the main site on the multisite install. (main site is at http://www.website.com)

I followed the directions here at the end for the htaccess rewrite:

http://codex.buddypress.org/how-to-guides/install-buddypress-on-a-secondary-blog/

The exception here is I am using subdomains, not subdirectories, so I went from what was advised here:

RedirectMatch 301 ^/members/(.*)$ http://example.com/community/members/$1
RedirectMatch 301 ^/groups/(.*)$ http://example.com/community/groups/$1
RedirectMatch 301 ^/blogs/(.*)$ http://example.com/community/blogs/$1
RedirectMatch 301 ^/forums/(.*)$ http://example.com/community/forums/$1

...to...

RedirectMatch 301 ^/members/(.*)$ http://fan.website.com/members/$1
RedirectMatch 301 ^/groups/(.*)$ http://fan.website.com/groups/$1
RedirectMatch 301 ^/blogs/(.*)$ http://fan.website.com/blogs/$1
RedirectMatch 301 ^/forums/(.*)$ http://fan.website.com/forums/$1

However, this results in an error in the browser:

"The page isn't redirecting properly -- Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete."

What do I need to further tweak this?

Thanks!
Ray
