Bug with loading admin-ajax

After updating to latest version of domain mapping I noticed a huge issue and had to revert to a previous version (
From what i remember :
- on a subsite with a different domain mapped to it : when trying to add a category (or custom taxonomy) in admin, or when trying to "quick edit" an article, nothing was happening.
- i opened the console and realized there was an error loading the admin-ajax file
- the path to the file was http://subsite.com/wp-admin/subsite.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php instead of just http://subsite.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php

This might be a mistake on my behalf, but I don't think so since reverting to previous version fixed the issue

    Hello pravdamien,

It looks like the page is loading the "admin-ajax.php" under a sub-directory domain instead of the mapped domain. If you can grant support access to your site we will be happy to check this further.

You can grant support access via WPMU DEV > Support > Support Access > Grant Access.

hi there. Are you sure ? I don't think that's it because if it were loading a subdirectory instead of mapped domain, it would have been trying to load :
and what it was actually doing was trying to load :

I unfortunately can't grant you access right now (unless we agree and a precise time and date) since i had to reverse back to a previous version to fix the issue, so the bug is no longer online.
Since updating the plugin breaks my admin, the only way for me to grant access - with the bug operating - is if we can minimize the duration, I first update, then grant access, then reverse the update once you've taken a look.

But I sure would appreciate the help since I don't want to be stuck updating the plugin

    thanks for the help

Thank you for replying back to us!

If the site in question is live, use the Cloner plugin to make a copy of it, and grant us temporary access to it. You can also try to disable the other plugins then, update Domain Mapping to the latest version. Sometimes there might be be conflict between plugins causing such issue.

Please let us know once you've granted access us, as we don't get any notifications about it.

    Looking forward for your reply.

Hi. I'm having this problem again with latest release
    i just granted access.

You can access a mapped domain through one of the subsites.

If you go to mainnetwork.com/subsite/wp-admin/upload.php you'll notice everything works fine, even if site is mapped to another domain , ie. otherdomain.com
However if you go to otherdomain.com/wp-admin/upload.php you'll notice media isn't charging at all

By opening the console i have an error with the ajax call : it's trying to get the file through http://otherdomain.com/wp-admin/mainnetwork.com/subsite/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php

have i configure smtg wrong ???

We have just tested the beta but it has introduced a number of new bugs in its place.

It fixes the issue with elementor not saving but now we have the following new bugs:

      1) In the Network Admin Dashboard, when you go to All Sites, the link to dashboard for each site does not work. It just directs to the main network site. This happens on both Sub-Domain and Sub-directory installs

      2) If a user logs in at the base site it no longer directs them to their site dashboard but displays an error saying they don't have permissions to access the base site and offers them a link to the dashboard of their site which is again a link to the base site not their own site

      3) Sites in the multi site network not assigned to a Pro Sites plan can no longer be accessed. It displays an error saying "This site is temporarily disabled until payment is received". This does not happen on v4.4.2.4. Is this something to do WHMCS removal ?
