    Hello Tom,

    I hope you're well today and thank you for your question!

    Our Snapshot Pro plugin was designed as a backup solution primarily so it's easy to backup and then restore the same site on the same domain. However, I think nothing stands in a way of using it as a "move site" tool.

    That said, this would be useful in case you'd like to really move your site instead of changing domain only (while the site would remain in the same location on the server). In this case the steps would be as follows:

    1. On your "source" site install Snapshot and create a full backup (including files and all db tables
    2. Setup a basic, fresh WordPress (default setup) under the new domain; this will be your "target" site
    3. Download snapshot archive from your "source" site
    4. Install Snapshot on your "target" site
    5. Use Snapshot's "import" tool to import previously created (on "source" site) snapshot archive
    6. Click "Restore" link under imported snapshot archive name

    Once the "restore" procedure is completed, you will want to update URL's in your "target" site database. In order to do this you'd need to do a "search and replace" on your database (e.g. using phpMyAdmin tool available in cPanel) to replace all "domainA" references with "domainB".

    Alternatively, you may want to run through entire process manually as described here:

    That said, please make sure that you have not removed or deleted any parts of your original site until your new ("target") site is up and running.

    Hello Tom,

    Thanks for your response!

    This is a server issue rather than plugin. It seems that there are quite limited resources set for PHP and PHP "communication" there. I'm not sure if GoDaddy fully supports custom "php.ini" file that are used to tweak PHP configuration but I think it is worth giving a try first.

    That said, please access your server via FTP and create an empty "php.ini" file inside the root folder (this would be either the main folder of your domain or the "highest"/"shortest path" folder you're able to access) and put these lines inside it:

    max_input_time = 3600
    max_execution_time = 3600
    default_socket_timeout = 6000

    Give it a try please and let me know if it helped!
