When using other platforms, I feel that it is best practice to create a child theme to help isolate custom styling and other items that can be lost when upgrading a theme. I see a number of posts dated 2011 and 2013 about creating child themes, but is that still relevant with the 2016 version of UpFront? Can I create a child theme of Scribe? Does that make sense if the data is being stored per theme?
And if not, I typically customize the theme name and thumbnail for a client. Is that still possible?
