    Hello Johnny,

hope you're doing good and thanks for reaching us!

Actually i have Membership Premium no pro

That means that you use the old version, Membership 1, which is rather old and isn't supported any more as we moved on Membership 2.
I'd rather advise to update to latest Membership 2 Pro and keep up from there. In order to do so, the following steps should be made:

    - Update current version of Membership 1 to the latest version 3.5.3.3.
I attach this version for you here, simply deactivate and delete current version, then install the attached one, or delete old plugin folder via FTP and upload the latest one.

    - Continue with the steps provided in M2PRO usage page here
    https://premium.wpmudev.org/project/membership/#product-usage
under the "Upgrading from Membership" subtitle.

I strongly advise to create a staging environment first, meaning an exact copy of your WP installation in another folder in the same server, so you can have it as a testing place.
In there you can safely test the update procedure and ensure that there're no issues. If so, we can safely dig in to resolve those and then you should be safe to make this update to your live server too. Here's a recent article from our blog that may help you on this: https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/set-up-staging-site-cheap-shared-hosting/
You can also contact your hosting provider as they may help you with is or provide some additional info.
On the other hand, you can have a full backup (files and database) of the live server and use it to reverse to a previous state if upgrading goes wrong. For that, you can use our powerful Snapshot plugin https://premium.wpmudev.org/project/snapshot/

    Warm regards,
    Dimitris

    Hello Johnny!

If you follow the steps suggested by my colleague Dimitris, the membership levels (now "memberships") and other data should be kept and converted to Membership 2 Pro format.

It would however be better to first test this procedure on a staging site so in case anything went wrong we could test it again and find solution.

    Best regards,
    Adam
