Cannot use the Google Maps Add ons

Hello, I am trying to use the Google Maps but I am facing difficulties with using the add ons features. Although I can activate them as advertised I cannot make the user features appear in the map, as in check in or members locations for instance. The only shortcode that works is the one that makes the general map appear with my location on it. The widget only shows a map without any locations or markers on it. I have created a page and used the shortcodes for the checkin add on but it doesn't work. Can you please guide me through with some more detailed instructions on where to put the shortcodes because I also looked for the map form but i can't seem to find it in my pages. Thank you

    Hi @Valia,

    Thank you for granting the support staff access.

    I logged in to your site and found the Google Maps plugin is deactivated on your site so i temporary activated it to troubleshoot the issue and used the following shortcode on your site page http://www.yoursite.com/maps/

    [agm_add_checkin]

    [agm_show_checkins id="1" automatic="true"]

    I found it was not displaying any content on that page because some CSS properties are getting applied on the Google Maps elements on your site. It's working fine on my test site so it seems this may be causing by plugin/theme conflict on your site.

    You can just try on your development site using default WordPress theme like Twenty Fifteen and temporary deactivating all other plugins as displayed in the following flowchart to know which theme/plugin is conflicting if any.

    https://premium.wpmudev.org/manuals/getting-support/

    Currently to fix the issue i have just added the following CSS code in the custom CSS option of your site on the following path.

    Admin Area -> Appearance -> Edit CSS

    #agm-map-checkins .agm_google_maps > div {
    left: auto !important;
    position: relative !important;
    }

    Please note i have used !important in the above CSS code to overwrite all other CSS property values, it's not recommended to always use the !important as it overwrites other property values but we have used it here because in this case we have to overwrite other property values.

    You will find more information about the User Check in add-on and its shortcodes on the following path as shown in the attached screenshot.

    Admin Area -> Settings -> Google Maps -> User Check-ins

    After troubleshooting i have deactivated the Google Maps plugin on your site as it was so please reactivate and let me know how the check in functionality works for you on the page http://www.yoursite.com/maps/

    Best Regards,
