Can't find info about pro sites

Hey wpmudev, how are you? I have an issue.

I installed the pro sites plugin, configured following this tutorial :

https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/pro-sites-premium-upgrades/

Everything great. But now I don't get how to move foward. Where do I design my page where users would be able to sign up? Should I use a domain for that?

I have been looking for tutorials for the whole process, but I couldn't find. I would love you guys can show me the walkthrough.

Thanks a lot!

    Hello Emiliano,

I hope you're well today and thank you for your question!

After Pro Sites is installed the default signup page is available under the http://yoursite.com/pro-site URL.

In order to customize this page please use the "Pro Sites -> Pricing Tables -> Styling" page first. Then you may want to apply some additional CSS styling to it which you may also put into the "Custom CSS" box on the same page.

Here's you'll find more information on setting up and using Pro Sites plugin:

    https://premium.wpmudev.org/project/pro-sites/#product-usage

If you have any further/specific questions on this, let me know please and I'll be happy to assist you.

    Best regards,
    Adam

    Hey there Emiliano,

I hope you're having a beautiful day and don't mind skipping in!

I feel a bit confused here. Are both of these sites on your local end? How do you deploy your local installations and under which OS?
http://yoursite.com/pro-site should redirect you into the default register page of your MU site, I really can't tell why this redirection is happening. Maybe you have made changes in your local hosts file?

Looking forward for your feedback on this.

    Kind regards,
    Dimitris

    Hi Dimitris, thanks for repyling.
Before installing a multisite, I had a site up and running in my local enviroment. So, if I looked for http://localhost, I was able to see the homepage.
Then, I installed a multisite in the same path. (localhost). Now, if I look for localhost/pro-site, the previous site appears, with its 404 not found custom page.
    My OS is ubuntu 16.04.
Should I move my previous site?

    Thanks!

    Hi Emiliano,

Can you first try one simple thing to see if that helps, go to your pages list and remove Pro Sites page, go to Trash and remove it from there as well, after that go to Pro Sites > Settings and save the settings there so that new Pro Sites page is created and perhaps that will take care of it.

My suggestion would also be to split your installations in subfolders, for example localhost/multisite/ and localhost/singlesite/ so you don't face these issues in future again if you need some additional installations for testing.

    Best regards,
    Predrag
