Changing "Our Products" in each screen to the category name

I hope this hasn’t come up yet as I searched and couldn’t find anything.

I am using the gridmarket child-theme to build a website and wondered how easy it would be to display the name of the category at the top of each page instead of each category page displaying “Our Products.” It seems like a pretty simple task as just about every other page/post in WordPress works this way, but I am fairly new to the whole php/css thing.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi weareiamllc and Welcome to WPMUdev forums!

To change this you will need to open /wp-content/themes/gridmarket/index.php

    on line 31:

    <h1 class="post-title"><?php _e( 'Our Products', 'framemarket' ) ?></h1>

    and 38

    <h1 class="post-title"><?php _e( 'Our Products', 'framemarket' ) ?></h1>

Change ‘Our Products’ to your desired text.

Hope this helps! Worked in my Test

Thanks so much for your help.

I assume your solution would have changed “Our Products” to whatever it is that was typed, but without trying it I’m guessing it would change it to that very text for every single category.

Of course after asking and while looking for a different solution for a different problem I ran into this thread:

It helped me do exactly what I was looking for (and more).
