Changing the theme name completely

I wanted to change the name of the theme. I use DIVI from Elegant themes. I created a child theme.

Now what? If I try changing the name in style.css it changes fine in themes menu. But if I activate it under Appearance Menu it shows “Divi Theme Options”

It doesn’t show the name that I changed.

Is there any way to do this?

2. Is it possible to remove the word “Theme” Currently by default WordPress shows “Divi Theme Options”

I wanted to have “Customname Options” That’s it.

Let me know, if it is possible.

    Hi CatMan,

    Hope you’re having a great weekend! Thanks for your question. :slight_smile:

    Could you please check your theme-options.php file? Look for something like the code below:

    // this function adds the settings page to the Appearance tab
    add_action('admin_menu', 'add_theme_options_menu');
    function add_theme_options_menu() {
    add_submenu_page('themes.php', 'Divi Theme Options', 'Divi Theme Options', 8, 'theme-options', 'theme_settings_admin');

    Then, just replace ‘Divi Theme Options’ with your custom theme name.

    Let me know if this helps! :slight_smile:
