Charging clients twice for pay per view, when closing browser and re-opening

I had a per per view event this weekend, and two customers had to pay me twice in order to continue watching the event... NOt sure if others dealt with the same issue, no feedback from them yet.

I have set time to 9 hours, where the browser must not delete cookies, this way, clients can close and open browser as they please...

Somehow it didn't function for them...

I have paypal invoice to show for if needed.

Please let me know how we can solve this issue.

    As it uses a cookie, usually this occurs if the users cookie was deleted, or if they were somehow using a browser in incognito mode. But the cookie must have been removed somehow, maybe a browser extension had caused it. They must use the exact same browser too.

    I haven't seen any reports about this, so it could be a one-off or issue with those particular users browsers possibly.

    Not sure what else to suggest, but if you do get any further feedback from other users do let us know. I have tested ppv on my own site and it seems to work fine for me.
