Chat plugin doesn't show up anywhere in dashboard

Thanks, Mason, removing the update file from both plugins and plugins-mu fixed it so it installed. Only trouble it doesn't show up in the plugin list or in the Settings module.

Do I have to de-activate the BuddyPress chat plug 1st?

Thanks,

Tony

    Hiya Tony,

Glad we got that sorted

Depending on the plugin and what it's designed to do, some of our plugins are installed in mu-plugins while others are made for the regular WordPress plugin directory.

In the case of the Chat plugin, it should be in the plugins directory.

I just took a look at our download for this plugin and it doesn't seem to have that stated with any install instructions. Apologies on that. I'll make a note and we'll get that changed quickly.

To confirm, make sure your file structure matches this for chat.php:
    wp-content/plugins/chat/chat.php

Once we have that setup correctly, activation should be available through the normal plugins menu. From here you can change the settings under:
    Settings>Chat

If you have any further difficulty, just let us know!

    Thanks!
