Short version: IE users must hit refresh before the embedded chat room recognizes them as logged in.
Long version: We have noticed a little quirk with the Chat plugin on our site that seems to only affect users running Internet Explorer. We have tested in IE10 and IE11 so I don't know if it goes back beyond that. We currently use that Chat plugin embedded in one particular page. We do not use the corner chat, nor do we use the plugin on any other page. We also restrict it so that users must be logged in first in order to chat. It works great for Chrome and FireFox users. However, if a user with Internet Explorer logs in and then visits the chat page, the chat room shows them as being logged out. If they refresh the webpage it will then properly reflect them as being logged in and allow them to chat.
Have you guys seen this behavior before?
