Client-specific page with info

Here is what I’m trying to accomplish:

We run a graphic design business. I’d like for my clients to be able to login to their account on our website and have a page that is specific to them:

Their design files

file upload

Reorder prints

A ticket system so that we can communicate through their client portal.

Please help!! Thank you!

Hello there @wes, I hope you’re well today!

We run a graphic design business. I’d like for my clients to be able to login to their account on our website and have a page that is specific to them:

    Their design files

    file upload

    Reorder prints

A ticket system so that we can communicate through their client portal.

You could use BuddyPress to setup their profiles, but you’d probably also have to do some custom coding as this is not supported out of the box by BuddyPress…

We do have a plugin for the ticketing service :https://premium.wpmudev.org/project/support-system/ but other than that, the rest of your feature are pretty custom so you’ll have to implement other solutions for that, extending the BuddyPress profile.

You could post a new job if you wish to our Jobs Board on https://premium.wpmudev.org/wpmu-jobs/ so that a skilled developer can create that for you.

    I hope that helps!

    Cheers,

    Ari.

    Hey,

I run a web design and development company so I have encountered your situation

For your client portal you can use http://wp-client.com/

For your ticket system, I suggest you use something like freshdesk or kayano. While WPMU has an awesome ticketing system (Kudos to the team), I personally like that I don’t have to be worried about all the hosting, management so forth and Service is always helpful.

Personally, I built a client portal from scratch using WordPress. Fits my needs better.

@Buooy – Thanks for the info. I had already purchased a license for WP-Client, but wanted to get input on if there were any other options. It really is a great solution for what I’m looking to do. The only issue I have with it is that if I have Facebook Login enabled (which I did) then if a client tries to login with Facebook, it doesn’t redirect them to their hub. But, you have to give a little to get a little.

As for the ticketing system- great recommendation with Freshdesk. It’s just what I was looking for! Thanks for all of your help!

(Any recommendations on where to start if I wanted to build a custom solution as you did?)

Thank NAME, for their help.
