Client's page got indexed in Google, it's restricted to logged-in users

I'm using the Members plugin to restrict a page to only logged-in users; if not logged in, it shows 'you don't have permission to view this content.'

But my client just sent me this screenshot (attached) showing the content of this page in a Google alert. How could that happen? Are pages restricted to logged-in users indexed in Google anyway?

    Hi @debbie,

Thanks for posting on the forum.

Are you using the Members or membership plugin?

If you can please share me the plugin URL from where you have downloaded it.

Also would you mind if I logged in to your site and did some testing? This might help get to the bottom of this faster. If this is ok, just grant me temporary admin access to your site by clicking “Grant Access” button in the WPMU DEV Dashboard Settings from the following path and reply on this thread after granting it?

Admin -> WPMU DEV -> Support -> Support Access Tab

    Kind Regards,

    Vinod Dalvi
