Hi there

I would like to clone my main site to create 2 subdomains i.e. and Currently when I clone the site in Cloner, it creates a blank site that takes me to an error page in my browser.

Please can you assist urgently. I have granted access.

    Hi Ashleigh ,

    Hope you're doing well today!

    1) As you are using WordPress Multisite subdomain based, have you created the "Wildcard Subdomains" as mentioned here:

From what I tested, this issue is not related to Cloner, we are unable to create a new site from the default WordPress option network admin -> Sites -> Add new.

    2) If the "Wildcard Subdomains" was created, have you updated your .htaccess, with the values mentioned in the "Subdomain Example"?

    Cheers, Luís

    Hi Luis

    Thanks for the response.

I have created a wildcard subdomain and the htaccess file is sorted. Now the problem is that when I visit a cloned site, it is showing me a page from one of my other domains on my hosting, which is completely unrelated. The strange thing is that it is showing the correct URL but showing the wrong website.

    Hi Ashleigh ,

    Hope you're doing well today!

I tried to access to your website again to check the issue, but the Support Access has expired. Also, I am not seeing any Multisite installation registered in your account. Have you deleted the site or removed WPMUDEV Dashboard from it?

Not sure what can be causing that, maybe the Wildcard is pointing to a different "document root" than the Multisite install.

In order to help you better, I would like to check your settings, so, can you send me the FTP and cPanel details so I can try investigate it further?

If yes, please send it privately through our contact form:
