Cloning a Multisite Blog - Cloner

I have used Cloner, and it is great.
1) In my new situation I will be cloning a website that is identical to another website, except for the city.
2) So the Chicago plumbing company will identical to the Los Angeles plumbing company.
3) Is there a way to do a "search and replace" on the new blog, replacing every instance of Los Angeles with Chicago?

    Hey @dfreeman, hope you're doing well today! :slight_smile:

    Aside from taking the manual method, you could try doing a search & replace using a tool like this:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/better-search-replace/

    However, given the fact that we'd be modifying database tables here, I would advise doing a test run on a development site first, just to be safe (and having a database backup on hand, to be extra safe).

    The plugin does come with a "dry run" mode, so you can preview any changes made before they're actually made. :slight_smile:

    You would need to find out the ID for the site being modified, you'll be able to find it by clicking on the "Edit" link for a site in:

    Sites -> All Sites

    And noting the ID mentioned in the URL, it'll look like this:

    /wp-admin/network/site-info.php?id=23

    (change 23 to the ID displayed in the address bar)

    Hope this helps! :slight_smile:

    Kind Regards,
    Michael
