Combining Hummingbird CSS files


On Pingdom I see this message:

“There are 8 CSS files served from http://www…... They should be combined into as few files as possible.”

    Hope you’re well :slight_smile:

    Hummingbird will try to create as fewer files as possible, however this will depend on number of files you have (theme and plugins CSS, JS and so on) and also it depends on how are you loading your files, if there are a lot of files not combined or if you have lot of them loading in different locations it will create multiple files.

    Basically there’s no one for all setting that can take care of everything as this is different from one installation to another.

    You should try changing HB minification settings a bit and try combining and moving as much files to footer in order to take care of this.
