Compress & Resize Images

Hi, I've smushed all my images with WP Smush, but it still shows a large number of images that need to be "compressed and resized." I saw that you suggest doing this in the media library, to scale the images to the size of where they are used in the website.

Is there a way to tell what size I need to resize them to? Right now, I am blindly guessing and resizing images.

    Hello Jule,

I hope you are well today.

I took a quick look at your site and I'm not really seeing any images that are all that out of proportion with what your styles and HTML are resizing them too. Really, they're quite good.

I used Google Chrome DevTools to inspect the HTML/CSS of your site and the computed sizes are just a little smaller than the actually image size. So, the performance impact is negligible. You can safely ignore these notices as going through the trouble of getting the exact dimensions will be more trouble for you than the reward. Your site is loading very fast and the images are very close to the computed sizes.

I hope this clarifies a bit.

    Best regards,

    James Morris
