Configuring the Chat Plugin for Sales Support

The use-case I have in mind is that the chat plugin would be used to provide a sales support chat option for site visitors.

When I am available the chat option would display and when I am not it won't.

The use-case doesn't need the person to sign in. I also won't have a scenario where I have members chatting like with a buddypress installation.

I just want to make sure I get it right. Sorry this is a fairly simplistic use-case.
