confirm appointment by service provider

Hello, I want to ask two questions:
1) despite any configured service providers, check when the service is pending, the system does not send email to the provider. I need that the provider receives the email and confirm the appointment with an email both the administrator and the client.
2) can you tell me how do you change the messages, graphics and language?
thanks
Stefano

    Hello @Stefano

    Welcome to WPMU community!

I hope you are well today and thanks for asking the question.

#1. Did you check the box for "Allow service provider confirm own appointments" in Appointments > Settings > General > Accessibility Settings?

If yes, then would you please try a SMTP plugin?

    http://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-wp-smtp/
    http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-smtp/
    http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-mail-smtp/
    http://wordpress.org/plugins/configure-smtp/

#2. What message do you mean here? The email message can be changed from Appointments > Settings > General.

The text of the plugin and language of the plugin can be changed using a new language file.
    https://premium.wpmudev.org/translate/projects/appointments
    https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/how-to-translate-a-wordpress-plugin/

To change graphics, you will need to use css. You have to write your own css to overwrite the plugin's css. You can add css to a theme's stylesheet, in a child theme, or using a plugin like My Custom CSS.

Hope it helps  Please feel free to ask more question if you have any.

    Cheers
    Ash

Yes, "Allow service providers confirm own appointments" is correctly configured.
the system sends the email but it does when you assign the service to a provider. I want the system to send the email to the provider only when the administrator assigns the service. After confirming the service provider when the latter went from pending to confirm and send the email to the customer. I make myself clear? if you need I opened "Support Staff Access"

    Hey Stefano,

    Hope you're doing well today!

Thanks for all your patience here. I've been reviewing your ticket and I think I understand the situation.

So, when someone books, the service provider isn't selected; however, the admin selects the service provider after? and you want them to receive the notification of appointment email when the admin manually assigns the appointment?

By default as it looks like you already know, the notification email is sent out when the service provider is selected during the appointment booking, when service providers are allowed to confirm appointments that is.

Or is the situation that even when the service provider is selected during booking, that it still doesn't send out the email? That it should be doing and if not, then there is an conflict happening somewhere. Either way, more than happy to help you get this sorted

    Look forward to hearing back!

    Cheers,
    Tyler

Excuse my English, I use google translate
I installed A+ on a wp multisite and the customer wants:
    1) customer service book, which remains in the "Our staff"
    2) the 'administrator assigns the service and A+ send an email to the only provider
    3) the provider accepts the job and confirms the service, only this time the customer receives a confirmation email from the administrator. (I do not know why but now A+ does not do this. Now send the e-mail only when the administrator selects the box "(Re) send confirmation e-mail" and sends it to the client to the provider.)
If I can ask you more, let me know how can I install the Spanish language site in Spanish. I downloaded the file .po and .mo and put in the plugin folder, but does not function.
I also want to improve the user layout, making sure that those who wish to book see the date and time fields in a format similar to what is in the back office, you can do?
Thanks for your help! I extend to you the Support Staff Access

    Hey Stefano,

You will need to do some custom development to get this exactly how you want. I'll tell you how close we can get out of the box though

It would involve the notifications email as mentioned above. You would need to let the provider be assigned at booking then they will receive a notification email when an appointment is booked - the service provider can "confirm" it then the customer will get a notification that the appointmet has been confirmed.

The part that would need custom development in your method, would be to trigger a new email that goes out when the admin assigns an appointment. I can mark that as a feature request; however, currently it's not possible out of the box.

As mentioned earlier, you could hire someone to do this if you wanted to go that route, we have a jobs board where you find another talented member of the community to help you with this: https://premium.wpmudev.org/wordpress-development/

Perhaps another option would be to manually email the service provider when you assign an appointment to them. You could create an email template that you use to send an email manually to them

If I can ask you more, let me know how can I install the Spanish language site in Spanish. I downloaded the file .po and .mo and put in the plugin folder, but does not function.

Which plugin folder did you place it in? Make sure you place it in /wp-content/languages/plugins/

If the languages or plugins folder don't exist then just create them  once in that folder it should work soon as you switch the site language to Spanish from the general settings.

I also want to improve the user layout, making sure that those who wish to book see the date and time fields in a format similar to what is in the back office, you can do?

Try using this shortcode instead of the monthly one:

    [app_schedule]

That will give you a weekly schedule so it looks more like the back office working hour selection

How does that sound? Look forward to hearing back on this!

    All the best,
    Tyler
