Could you explain the syntax for [eab_single] shortcode please?

I'm trying to use [eab_single] to display an event on a page, but I'm struggling with the syntax of the template part
This is what I've got at the moment:
[eab_single id="9" template="/wp-content/plugins/events-and-bookings/default-templates/full-width-black/single-incsub_event.php"]

If I do [eab_single id="9"] it works fine, but the template part seems to throw it.

Could you explain how to use this please, as I can't find any documentation that shows in detail how to do it.

Thank you

    Hi there @urbanhaze

I hope you are well today and thanks for your question.

Your very close, this is how you'd use the shortcode.

    [eab_single slug="test" class="css-class" template="newtemplate_file.php" override_styles="1"]

Where newtemplate_file.php is within your events+ templates.

    Thank you!

    Kind Regards

Thanks for the response, but sorry, I think I may have gotten something else wrong!...

I copied the folder in default-templates called "full-width" and named it "full-width-black" then amended the events.css in that folder to suit my requirements, leaving the page single-incsub_event.php as-is

Not sure how I stitch that into the shortcode (or if I can?)

Or should I have done something different please?

    Thank you

    Hi there @urbanhaze

I hope you are well today and sorry about the delay.

So in the templates file, do you have a full-width-black.php file, correct?

    If so, this should work

    [eab_single slug="test" class="css-class" template="full-width-black.php" override_styles="1"]

    Thank you!

    Kind Regards
    Jack.
