Could you have a look at my Membership 2 Pro pages

Hi,

Could you have a look at my Membership 2 Pro pages as the page formatting is all over the place. A good example of this would be the 'sign up' button on my home page. This should take you too my http://yourbetsfriend.com/memberships/ page.

From here i would like users to be able to sign up, giving them full access to my buddy press website. Could you have a look please.

Thank you
Greg

    Hey Greg,

At the core of this, when Membership 2 Pro's active, and one of the Stripe gateways inside of it is set to Live (which I see the Stripe Subscriptions Gateway is enabled), an SSL certificate is required. Now, the Memberships page that's been linked to is only for logged in users, unregistered users would need to be sent to:

    http://yourbetsfriend.com/register/

As to why you ran into an SSL error when being logged out of the site... I'm guessing that a page was still being viewed via https://.

Once an SSL certificiate has been installed (and one will need to be installed, as Stripe requires it), you shouldn't run into the layout issues that you're encountering now, whether or not Membership 2 Pro is active.

When it comes to getting an SSL certificate set up, we recently covered how this can be done with Let's Encrypt, over on the blog:

    https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/lets-encrypt-ssl-certificate/

    Kind Regards,
    Michael

Thank you for looking in to this, that's great. So are you saying if an SSL certificate is added all issues will be fixed?

My next question is buddy press restriction. I don't want my users to be able to access anything on my website including their profile until they are a paying member. I know restricting buddypress elements such as profile, wall, activity arebt easily restricted, but Is there a way to ensure that a member can revisited until they pay... I believe currently my website allows you to register without paying.

Hard to explain but hope you understand what I mean!

    Thanks
    Greg

This should fix the layout issues when the site is requested via SSL. See my screenshot for the ones I mean

This ( Better register / sign up workflow ) is something we are aware of and are working out the specifics for a future release. Its not possible out of the box at the moment.
