Coursepress Installation difficulty

Hello. When I try to install coursepress, I receive the message, "Installation failed. Most likely wrong folder permissions of your wp-contents folder." I'm not sure how to change the permissions. Advice? Thank you.

    Hello Krista,

I hope you're well today and thank you for your question!

I've accessed your site using support access that you granted and I can confirm that CoursePress cannot be installed due to a permissions error. I tried to install some other plugins via WPMU DEV Dashboard and they were installed successfully (I already removed them).

This suggests that the CoursePress plugin directory already exists so either you have tried to install other/free version manually or something went wrong during initial install so the directory got created. That said please try following steps:

    - access your site via FTP (or a cPanel's File Manager)
    - switch to "/wp-content/plugins" folder
    - look for "/coursepress" folder

If it's there, please delete it and then go back to your dashboard's "WPMU DEV -> Plugins" page and try to install CoursePress Pro again.

Let me know if it helped, please!
    Best regards,
    Adam
