The recent update of CoursePress Pro v1.2.3.8 has totally deleted my custom translation.

These errors are tolerable only once.

Please fix the problem immediately.

    Hi Michael,

Translation as in most of the plugin is in the language folder inside the plugin.
I used CodeStyling Localization to perform the translation (2 days of work down the drain!). It happens sometimes that the plugin ask the folder to use, but in this case it was already set. Maybe your developer must add a few lines of code ...

As I wrote the other treds, you should not completely rewrite the plugin folder of each update. This of course delete, files that that are not default.

    Why does this happen?

Now I will try to move the translation in the hope that it read.

    Hello @ifurlo

Language file can be put inside plugins folder or inside wp-content/languages/plugins folder. Now-a-days, WordPress itself recommend to use wp-content/languages/ folder to put the language files so that it won't get overwritten, so it's better and safe

Though you are right and still many people use the plugins folder to put the lang file. I will definitely let the developer know about this.

    Cheers
    Ash
