Creat white visual space between two lines of php code.

Hi.

Could some one please tell me how to create a couple of lines of white space between a repeated piece of code?

i.e :-

<center><?php echo do_shortcode('[???]'); ?></center>

"white space"

<center><?php echo do_shortcode('???'); ?></center>

I have tried using:-

"pre"

Which gives me exactly the space I wish to have, but it visually enlongates all that goes below it!!!!!

Thanking you in advance.

Regards

John

    Hi @john,

    I hope had been good today!

    Just to make sure, you have tried this:

    <center><?php echo do_shortcode('[???]'); ?></center>

    <pre></pre>

    <center><?php echo do_shortcode('???'); ?></center>

    Not sure if is the best option, you can try with a "span", "div" elements and control the behaviour using CSS:

    span{
      display: block;
      height: 100px;
    }

    I hope this information has been helpful. If I can help you in this or other questions, please let me know!

    Hi Luis.

    Just noticed that the:-

    span{
    display: block;
    height: 100px;
    }

    is displaying on the front end (did not see it at first as I use a very dark page background!).

    I placed in the Header.php????

    it vanishes altogether if I use <>

    Any ideas.
