>> create a page to modify the site title and description

I create a website for a client with a different Admin area.
I can't let him access to general Admin page.
I also need a way to let him modify his site title and description
Is there a way to create a form to change the site title and description with a template ?
I dont find one
Thank you

    Hello Laurent_C,
    Hope you are doing good today :slight_smile:

    I could not find any plugin to update general settings from front-end. However, what you can do is hide some pages to some users in WordPress dashboard using Adminimize plugin.

    I am not sure if it can be done for specific user or not. But in case, it does not then you can add/register custom user role by adding following code in functions.php file of your child theme or use it as mu-plugin.

    function wpmudev_register_custom_user_role(){

    	add_role( $role = 'client' , $display_name = 'Client' );

    }
    add_action( 'init', 'wpmudev_register_custom_user_role' );

    If you go with mu-plugin route then, go to your /wp-content/ folder via FTP, and find the folder called "mu-plugins". If there is no folder with that name, then you'll want to create one. Then, create a file inside that folder, and give the file any name you like and paste the code in there.

    You don't need to activate that plugin, as it will be always be automatically activated. Please be sure to add a PHP start tag at the beginning of the code if you insert this code as a mu-plugin, like this:

    <?php

    Take care and have a nice day :slight_smile:
