Creating a Home Page/Making the site private

I've been in the process of designing what I'm hoping to make the Home Page of my website. Using the Wordpress dash board, however, i cant find the page I've been editing.. When i add a new page, I can easily name it, and make it private. But not the particular one i began editing first.... how do i name it, and make it private?... is it even a "page"?
Thank you,

    Hello Alex,

I hope you're well today and thank you for your question!

The default homepage of any Upfront theme is a "virtual page" so it's not a real page that you'll find in your WordPress back-end. Therefore you won't find it there.

For this case a workaround would be as follows:

    - create two WP pages (regular pages via WP backend)
    - use "Settings -> Reading" WP settings page to set one of them as a static front-page (temporarily)
    - then use Upfront to edit the other one the way you wish you homepage to look like
    - once this is finished swap these pages in "Settings -> Reading" settings page.

    Best regards,
    Adam
