CSS changes – Main page slider making image fit the full area available?

I have an issue with the slider on my site, when uploading the image, they are stuck on the right-hand side and don’t seem to be either centered or filling the slider area?

not sure if this is an issue with CSS/ Theme or just my file is too small or something else?

    Hi Tom,

    Hope you’re well?

    How big are the images you’re uploading?

    You can try the following CSS which might be better.

    .da-slide .da-img img {
    width: auto !important;
    height: 320px !important;

    Where do you add your images to the slider in your dashboard as I can’t seem to find the settings for the slider.

    I’m not able to do it from the CSS though, let me just ask one of my colleagues @patrick

    for some of his CSS expertise on this for you.

    Hope this helps

    i have tried uploading the css code you provided, which as increased the size which is great, its still stuck on the right hand side of the page for some reason and not centered ?

    the slider upload area is at the top of the page when logged into the wp-admin area. – http://www.tiikoni.com/tis/view/?id=c46d93d

    Also is it possible to remove the “Learn More” button from the left hand side? and instead make the image clickable and link to a certain page?

    Hi @tom

    Hope you are doing good today :slight_smile:

    It seems @patrick got stuck with a complex thread, so I decided to chimp in to provide my suggestion.

    I added below code in custom css box of theme options panel to make it center.

    .da-slide .da-img {
    width: 100%;
    position: static;
    margin-top: 80px;

    I can not see any read more button on slider. Is it still there ?

    If I am underspending you correctly you want a full width slider for your home page. Then why not try this awesome plugin Meta Slider it has full width slider option and also the you can link entire image instead of just a read more button.

    Let me know how it goes :slight_smile:

    Cheers, Sajid
