Custom code to customize the category pages

Hello,
URL: http://yourtechadvisors.com
I have a couple things I would like to accomplish for this request.
1. I would like to cut the title out shown in the screenshot, the heading can stay, but the plane text needs to go.
Example Category: http://yourtechadvisors.com/blog-cat/apple-products/

2. I would like to add a message that shows when a category is empty.
Example Category: http://yourtechadvisors.com/blog-cat/cool-apps/

Thanks.

    Hello @Alex,

    I hope you are having a good day and thanks for asking us. :slight_smile:

    1. I would like to cut the title out shown in the screenshot, the heading can stay, but the plane text needs to go.

    What do you mean by plain text ? Are you talking about entry content or heading title ? Can you clarify this a bit more ?

    2. I would like to add a message that shows when a category is empty.

    Whatever you want to achieve requires custom development needs to be done. So I suggest you post your these requirement as job on our Job Portal where our valuable developer will try to make this happen for you.

    If you plan to do on your own you'll need to identify theme template which is being used when single category is rendered on page. Once you have that template you can then use something like this inside wordpress loop to add custom message.

    $catTitle = get_the_title();
    if( empty( $catTitle ) ) {
    	echo "Hello there category is empty";
    }

    But these things will be done with great flexibility if developer does this for you.

    Thanks!
    Milan Savaliya.

    Hello @Alex,

    Hope you are doing well.

    Dear member this CSS snippet will hide repeatable content.

    .archive.category #blog-wrap > article .post-entry-content{
        display: none !important;
    }

    Let me know if you need help with something else :slight_smile:

    Cheers,
