Custom CSS and Coupon Printing Output

I'm not sure if you can assist with a theme (CouponXL WP) that is not from you guys, but I thought I'd ask just in case you can help, as I've submitted a support request to the theme author and haven't yet resolved the issues.

If you are not able to assist, I understand, I figured it wouldn't hurt to try.

Thank you in advance either way.

We have two on going issues:

1) The output format for printing a coupon comes out in 2 pages and includes the ad and a portion of the slider even though I have chosen the offer type as a printable coupon and uploaded the image.

How do I edit the output to include just the coupon?

I out-putted the OxyFresh Carpet Cleaning coupon to “print” in PDF format, which you can view here: http://shoprochester.lbmjournal.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/shopr.pdf

2) Some of my custom CSS changes will not “stick” when added to the child theme stylesheet. I even tried !important without success. I’ve installed a custom css plugin which makes the following code the work.

Why isn’t the child theme stylesheet accepting the following code?

.embed-responsive.embed-responsive-16by9 {
padding-bottom: 95%;
}
.widget-title h4 {
line-height: 28px;
font-weight: 500;
}
.widget.white-block.widget_cc_mm_widget {
padding: 20px;
}
