Custom post types archive template problem

Hi There,

Great plugin, but it doesn't seem to be using an archive for the custom post type.

has_archive set to true, re-write rules on.

I have a custom post type called 'staff' and have added the template 'archive-staff' but it's still using the default archive.php template?

Am I missing something (been googling this for ever)

Thanks!

Dave

    Hi Dave,

I just checked on my test site and my custom post type is using the custom archive page I've created. So this is probably your site specific issue. As you said, you have "has_archive set to true, re-write rules on", it should work. But it's really tough to say why this is not working without seeing your setup. I could tell you better about the issue if I could see it live, check your current configuration and make some tests on your site. Would you mind allowing Support Access so we can have a closer look at this?

To enable support access you can follow this guide here:

I'm looking forward to hear from you and resolve this issue as soon as possible.

    Have a nice day. Cheers!
    Rupok
