Custom Press category are the same like regular Post category

is made succesfull with Custompress a new type of Post. The only problem that we have: we see in the custompress category the same categorys than in the standard post.
Is there a way to have in custompress-made post a unique set of category's?

    Hello rein,

I hope you're well today and thank you for your question!

Categories and tags in WordPress are "taxonomies". You may create custom taxonomies with CustomPress. To do this, please go to the "CustomPress -> Content Types -> Taxonomies" page and click on the "Add Taxonomy" button.

The process is very similar to creating a post type, though there's less fields to be filled in  Especially make sure that you have selected proper post type (your custom post type in that case) from the "Post Type (required)" list.

In case you wanted to use only that custom-created categories with your custom post type, you will want to edit your custom post type ("CustomPress -> Content Types -> Post Types") and uncheck "Categories" (and/or "Tags") in "Support Regular Taxonomies" box.

    I hope that helps
