Customer can't create Pro Site


My Customer can't create Pro Site:

Hi, I get the message that my username and emailaddress are used already. Not sure how to reserve a site. I would like to use the naame for my domaine.

I have looked in the User Activation key to see if I can free things up but I don't see that this user has tried to register.

The only thing I can think of is that I saw that the user made a booking via Events Manager on my subsite:

How do we fix this and why did it happen?

    Hope you're doing well today :slight_smile:

    I have tested your site and your registration form is working correctly.
    If the user has already tried registering before it's possible that the username is already saved in wp_signups table and you should either remove it from there yourself or wait few days until it becomes available again.

    One thing is confusing me however, user is trying to register on your site?
    This is not possible, they need to create new sub-site on your network and after that you would need plugin like Domain Mapping in order to map different domain to that sub-site.

    Hi Justin,

    Sorry if I was unclear above, even if the user is not showing in your admin section it can be saved in your database, this is actually how WP works.
    If user is not activated right away it will still be saved in your database and WP will keep that username reserved for few days.

    So you will actually database access in order to check this out under wp_signups database table.
