Customization Request for 3rd party Theme

Hi Team,

I have a small customization request to my 3rd party theme.

Currently I am using 3rd party theme for my website - http://www.metrow.in/.

My requirement is to have menu on top of slider image as shown in the below URL:

http://demo.qodeinteractive.com/bridge/

Please adjust menu color and font size as in the 2nd URL given above.

I have provided the support access for http://www.metrow.in/.

Please let me know if any further information required.

Thank you,
Mentow

    Hey @Metrow,

    Hope you're doing well today :slight_smile:

    Could you please provide us with some more info about this customization, I'm not sure which parts you want copy to your site, dropdowns, menu transparency, something else?

    If you want to remove the background to look like other site you can use this CSS code:

    header#main-header {
    	position: fixed;
    	background: none;
    }

    header#main-header .main-navbar {
    	background: none!important;
    }

    To adjust font color and size use this CSS code and adjust the values to your liking:

    .navigation > ul > li > a {
        font-size: 16px!important;
        color: #000000!important;
    }

    And use this to adjust hover color for menu items:

    .navigation > ul > li > a:hover {
        color: #ffffff!important;
    }

    If your theme doesn't have custom CSS field, then you may wish to use a child theme or a plugin like this one for this additional CSS. That way you're protected when you come to upgrade.

    Hope this helps :slight_smile:

    Best regards,
    Predrag

    Hello Metrow,

    I have visited your site and checked it and it seems that all free CSS codes given by @Predrag Dubajic did affect the site. The menu is on "fixed" position, the font size of the menu main items is 16 pixels, the menu items are black and turn white on mouse over. If I'm missing anything here just let me know please.

    And there is a fine displaying between browser address bar and website home page.

    I'm not sure what do you mean by this. Could you please elaborate a bit? A simple screenshot with some arrows pointing to the issue would help much.

    Page content overlapped with the menu.

    Instead of keeping it fully transparent, you could add some semi-transparent background to the menu to make it "stand out" from the rest of the page, like this:

    #main-header {background-color:rgba(255,255,255,0.5)!important;}

    Can you please let me know how restrict to the specific pages.

    I'm not sure if I'm following you on this one either. Could you please explain what exactly would you like to "restrict to specific pages"?

    Thanks,
    Adam
