CustomPress and multisite functionality

I have been using some time with CustomPress today and had thought to use it on a multisite install.
This is not really viable however as it requires embedding code in files and changing file/folder permissions. To do this requires higher privileges than are available to site users.

Is it planned to make this plugin fully usable (Plug-n-Play)by site users i.e. that it won't require regular users to mess about with code or permissions?

It is a great plugin but not yet ready for use on a multi-site by regular users on network subsites...

    Hi Shane,

That's a very good question! Though the file permissions issue is a tough one to get around. Let me see if I can get the developer's thoughts on the matter.

Personally, I've use the Headway theme to get around that since it automatically generates a basic 'System Page' for custom post types and these pages can then be styled and laid out as any other System Page. Embed codes can easily be pasted into PHP Leafs from there.

Perhaps others around here might have other ideas for workarounds as well?
