Dear friends,
inhowfar can I use Upfront themes for clients?
How many licenses do I have with this account when offering Upfront themes to clients?
How can I handle updates?
If I use an Upfront theme for a client, are there going to be annual fees for this one client?
Thank you for your answers!

    Hi there, Granat!

Welcome to WPMU Dev community!

How many licenses do I have with this account when offering Upfront themes to clients?

You can use all of our plugins and themes for as many sites/clients as you like, without any license.

    How can I handle updates?

You can handle the updates through the WPMU Dev dashboard. Here it is: https://premium.wpmudev.org/project/wpmu-dev-dashboard/

If I use an Upfront theme for a client, are there going to be annual fees for this one client?

There would be no additional annual fee for that, just your member subscription here.

If by any chance you decided to stop your subscription here, all your plugins/themes that you have installed will still be working as it is. However, you will no longer have access to the plugins/themes updates and can no longer post here in our support forums.

Let us know if you have any further questions!

    Regards,
    Aicee

    Dear Aicee,

    thank you so much!
Indeed I do have more questions.

    Thank you!

    > How many licenses do I have with this account when offering Upfront themes to clients?

    That's supergreat! (y)

I can install as many WPMU Dev dashboards as I like for as many client sites as I like?

If I stop being a member - can the client get upgrades?

Can the client get regular updates for an Upfront theme by paying a reduced fee, for example 20,- dollars per year?

Can the client get regular updates for a plugin by paying a plugin fee, for example 15,- dollars per year?

    Thank you for your answer!

    Hi Granat!

Yes, you can install the dashboard to as many sites that you like.

If I stop being a member - can the client get upgrades?

Unfortunately, they won't get any upgrades because what you have used in those sites to install plugins/themes is your account, and if you stop your account subscription, they won't have any access to those upgrades.

Also, note that the WPMU Dev dashboard installed on your client's website will only be visible to the username/admin account which is currently logged in to the WPMU Dev dashboard.
When a user enters an api key it will begin to limit the entire plugin view to just that username. This great when using on client websites. (from https://premium.wpmudev.org/project/wpmu-dev-dashboard/#product-usage)

You have the option to hide it to your clients so, you can be the one to manage the updates. But if you wish for them to handle the updates, you can enable their admin account to be able to view the dashboard through adding this line to your wp-config.php file:
define('WPMUDEV_LIMIT_TO_USER', '1, 10'); – for multiple users (they are all user IDs).

Can the client get regular updates for an Upfront theme by paying a reduced fee, for example 20,- dollars per year?

For these questions, you may want to contact our account department as I'm not the right person to talk about it. They will help you there.
You can reach them using our private contact form: https://premium.wpmudev.org/contact/
IMPORTANT: Make sure to select "I have a billing question"
and put "Attn: billing" or "Attn: Account specialist" in Subject line

    Hope this helps!
