Defender 403 Error Code

Good day!

I am using Thrive Theme Content Builder and the Defender plugin is giving me a 403 error code when using one of the elements in the builder:

I disabled the plugin until I finish designing the site. What can I do to resolve it?

    Hi Jenjer Johnson ,

Most probably you fixed "Prevent PHP execution" issue through Defender. In this fix, Defender blocks execution of PHP files from any directories where running PHP script is risky. For example, if somebody uploads a malicious PHP file in any of your plugins or themes folder, your site may be become vulnerable and compromised. So Defender is blocking execution of "sc_page_section.php" file from "templates" directory inside your plugin.

However, you can override that rule by creating a ".htaccess" file. Create a file named ".htaccess" and paste the following content inside that file and save:
    Allow from all
Now upload this ".htaccess" file to "/wp-content/plugins/thrive-visual-editor/shortcodes/templates/" directory and check again.

I believe, this will resolve your issue. If it doesn't, would you mind allowing Support Access so we can have a closer look at this?

To enable support access you can follow this guide here:

I'm looking forward to hear from you and resolve this issue as soon as possible.

    Have a nice day. Cheers!
