Defender causing PHP warnings

I'd like to report the following error logs:
Backend log: PHP Warning: count(): Parameter must be an array or an object that implements Countable in .../wp-content/plugins/wp-defender/app/module/ip-lockout/controller/main.php on line 544\n, referer: https://s******s.nl/nl/product-categorie/storytiles/

Do you have a hotfix for this issue?

    Hello Laura Lisa

    I hope you're well today!

The message is "only" a notice so apart from, unfortunately, adding up to a log file (WP "debug.log" and/or PHP error_log) it shouldn't be causing any issues if it comes to plugin performance. However, it still had to be fixed of course

The issue is actually related to PHP 7.2.x and higher so only hosts powered by those are affected (or rather - their logs). Furthermore, depending on server's error reporting setting the notice may not even occur on some of them.

Our developers are already aware of the issue and there's a fix on the table (though there's no "hot patch" for this) and should be released quite soon with the major Defender update.

    Kind regards,
    Adam
