DEFENDER NOT UPDATING OLD SECURITY KEYS

I have updated my old security keys 7 times in the past 20 mins. Message will not disappear.

    Could you please check permissions of the "wp-config.php" file? Issues like this are often caused by the file not being writable, which is actually a good security practice in a long run but also prevents any changes to be made by scripts (such as e.g. Defender plugin).

    You can check file permissions using FTP or e.g. cPanel's "File Manager" tool. If they're set to something like 444 or 644 try temporarily changing them to 755 or even 775 and see if the changes are applied then. After that, you might want to change permissions back of course.
