[Defender Pro] Conflict with Defender Pro and ManageWP

Hi,
We use ManageWP to manage our WordPress websites. I see there is a know conflict between these plugins. Some sites won't connect even though PHP execution is allowed. We don't use 2 factor logins (yet).
IP addresses that ManageWP uses are all on the whitelist.
Do you guys already have patches? Or are you able to assist us with this matter?

    I hope you're well today and thank you for your question!

    Yes, unfortunately the ManageWP connection was an ongoing issue with various "tweaks"/"workarounds" meanwhile that were solving the issue temporarily. However, I can see that there's some fix coming up and I just asked our developers if there's some beta-release available which I could possibly share with you so you could test it.

    I'm awaiting response so I'll update you here as soon as I got feedback from them.

    I've attached a beta release of Defender to this post for you. According to our preliminary test it seems to be solving the issue (though please note that Prevent PHP Execution tweak should be disabled and the login duration should still be relatively long) so would you give it a try?

    I would suggest taking it for a test on one or two sites first, preferably either or some staging site of yours or some of "less importance" or at least less traffic but I'm really keen to get some feedback based on real-case scenario so I'd appreciate a lot if you could check if it solves the problem for you.

    Hi Jeroen,

    Apologies for the delay here, we had couple people less in last few days and we're doing our best to get everything back to normal now.

    Defender 2.1.3 does indeed include a fix for this and we had a couple of confirmations from users so it should be all good after you update the plugin.
