Defender reports 'Prevent Information Disclosure' , but htaccess is OK

Defender keeps reporting 'Prevent Information Disclosure' is an issue.

This is despite my htacces file in the site root being set. I do note it keeps Wanting to add Options -Indexes

# END WordPress

## WP Defender - Prevent information disclosure ##
Options -Indexes
## WP Defender - End ##

    Hi Nordost,

Editing .htaccess files isn't usually prevented by the server, only rules added to it can be disabled from applying to server settings, however if you have other sites running on the same server but don't have this issue there then we're dealing with something else here.

Could you try running a quick troubleshooting by disabling your other plugins and check if it works after that?

If that doesn't return any results could you provide us with FTP or cPanel access so we can further investigate this?

You can send us your details using our contact form and the template below:

IMPORTANT: Make sure you select "I have a different question" for your topic so it doesn't go back to forums - this and the subject line ensure that it gets assigned to me.

    Subject: "Attn: Predrag Dubajic"
    - Site login url
    - WordPress admin username
    - WordPress admin password
    - FTP credentials (host/username/password)
    - cPanel credentials (host/username/password)
    - Link back to this thread for reference
    - Any other relevant urls
