Defender scan not working

The last scan done was March 20, 2016 8:26 am

It says a scan has been initiated, but nothing happens.

I have already given access to the site for Alex because the Smush plugin is also not working properly.

    I’ve logged into your site and the scanning was already running. You have on your site Wordfence plugin activated, this is what mainly may be the reason of this issue you having.

    The Wordfence and the Defender can be activated at the same time on one installation because they are performing the same functions. If you wish to use the Defender plugin, please deactivate Wordfence and try again.
