Did you test it with 2016 default wp theme?

    Hello @italydotcom,

    I hope you're well today and thank you for your question!

    The "Footer Content" plugin isn't used often nowedays as you can usually add cross-page footer easily with theme settings or by adding a few lines to the theme files. However I understand the need for it so I tested it on my own site with Twenty Sixteen and can confirm the issue.

    The plugin itself is working fine as it's adding content to footer but the content becomes invisible. This is easily fixable though. On your dashboard's "Appearance -> Footer Content" page use following code instead of your current "Footer content":

    <div style="display:block;z-index:9999;position:relative;color:white;">
    YOUR CURRENT FOOTER CONTENT HERE
    </div>

    You may want to change "white" to any other color and add your own custom css rules. Let me know please if you need any further help on this.

    Best regards,
    Adam
