Directory/CustomPress Formatting Checklist Question

I've created a custom field using the Directory/CustomPress plugin. The field is a checkbox field type. It outputs the following embed code:

<?php echo do_shortcode('[ct id="ct_Firm_Ratin_checkbox_5945" property="title | description | value"]'); ?>

I need to display the checkbox in an unordered list so that I can style it. How do I make this display in an unordered list? Here is what I tried:

<?php echo do_shortcode('[ct id="ct_Firm_Ratin_checkbox_5945" property="title | description | value" before="<ul><li>" separator="</li><li>" after="</li></ul>"]'); ?>

This didn't work and was sad. :slight_frown:

    Hello troycdunn,

    Actually the Before and After parameters are for text and not html. Enclose html before the beginning of the <?php echo do_shortcode

    This is something from a project of mine:

    <ul id="postlist">
    					<?php p2_load_entry(); ?><br/><br/>
    		    		<div style="margin-left: 0px; background: none repeat scroll 0pt 0pt rgb(253, 254, 187); padding-left: 40px; padding-bottom: 20px; padding-top: 5px;"><ul>
    					<li style="border: medium none;"><?php echo do_shortcode('[tax id="articletype" before="Article Type: " separator=", " after=""]'); ?></li>
    					<li style="border: medium none;"><?php echo do_shortcode('[ct id="_ct_checkbox_4faa681b5a937" property="title"]'); ?>: <?php echo do_shortcode('[ct id="_ct_checkbox_4faa681b5a937" property="value"]'); ?> </li>
    					<li style="border: medium none; white-space: pre-wrap;"><?php echo do_shortcode('[ct id="_ct_text_4faa53328e942" property="title"]'); ?>: <?php echo do_shortcode('[ct id="_ct_text_4faa53328e942" property="value"]'); ?></li>
    					<li style="border: medium none;"><?php echo do_shortcode('[ct id="_ct_radio_4faa527fb000e" property="title"]'); ?>: <?php echo do_shortcode('[ct id="_ct_radio_4faa527fb000e" property="value"]'); ?></li>
    					<li style="border: medium none;"><?php echo do_shortcode('[ct id="_ct_radio_4fb4b70fb234e" property="title"]'); ?>: <?php echo do_shortcode('[ct id="_ct_radio_4fb4b70fb234e" property="value"]'); ?></li>
    					</ul></div>
    				</ul>

    Hope this helps :slight_smile:
