Disabeling panoramio images in google maps and displaying streetview maps

Hi

I have 2 issues and 1 question about this plugin:

Issue:
I am trying to use this plugin to create maps automatically using a custom field which holds addresses and it works great except it shows panoramio images too. How can I disable showing those annoying panoramio images?

Issue 2:
How can I display marker info using custom fields? Like the name of the place, address, web site url, email?

Question:
How can I display streetview maps directly rather than dragging that yellow man on maps?

    Hey there Erico,

    Hope you're doing well today!

I am trying to use this plugin to create maps automatically using a custom field which holds addresses and it works great except it shows panoramio images too. How can I disable showing those annoying panoramio images?

It should be off by default, I just tested this on my own site. Can you check in the add new map(globe icon beside add media) and see if the panoramio images are selected by default or not?

All the defaults are set via:

Settings > Google Maps > Options.

    Issue 2:
How can I display marker info using custom fields? Like the name of the place, address, web site url, email?

You want to autogenerate custom markers with your maps?
This currently isn't possible; however, I can add it as a feature request

    Question:
How can I display streetview maps directly rather than dragging that yellow man on maps?

Google doesn't allow showing the street view by default yet, but when they do we will definitely add it into the plugin

If you're still having trouble with the panoramio images can you grant support access so we can have a closer look?

You can grant support access via admin dashboard - WPMU DEV > Support > Support Access > Grant Access.

    https://premium.wpmudev.org/manuals/wpmu-dev-dashboard-enabling-staff-login/

You will need to install our Dashboard plugin first if you haven't already

    Look forward to hearing back!

    All the best,
    Tyler

    Hi

Thanks for the answer. let me clarify my questions again. Please keep in mind that I am not adding maps one by one.

    1. Disabling panoramio images: I am not adding maps using post editor interface - sphere icon. I am adding them automatically using a custom field and it works great. But when you add maps using custom fields, panoramio images comes by default and there is no way to disable them. Ca you see such an option in:

Settings > Google Maps > Options

    menu?

    2. Please check the attached image named marker.jpg. I do not want to generate custom markers. I want the marker have

    - a custom icon (yellow house in that example)
    - a title (Best Burger Place)
    - an url

I may have custom fields for them. Are there ways of doing these automatically? Shortcodes are welcome too.

3- For street view request, actually I have seen some resources where they can have street views directly. It seems really easy to implement IMHO. As a suggestion can you check these please:

    Hi there, ercio!

If I understand you, you're not using the our Google Maps plugin, you're adding the map embed code from Google directly via a custom field, correct?

This plugin will let you add custom markers and icons: https://wordpress.org/plugins/basic-google-maps-placemarks/

The links you share here looks as though they are for the Advanced Custom Fields plugin, which isn't actually our product. I believe there are both free and premium versions of that plugin, if I recall correctly.

    Hope this helps!
