Do I have to upgrade my membership to buy a second plugin?

I have a 19/month membership. I want to purchase one more plugin…do I have to update my membership to buy one more plugin? I don’t understand why I’m paying 19/month if I can only buy one plugin….and why am I being billed monthly. What is the point? Thoughts?

    Hey there.

    We’re a subscription based service, it’s that what pays for development, maintenance of the code, developers, servers and support.

    You don’t have to remain a member each month though, a membership is for support of WordPress, BuddyPress and our plugins/themes along with updates, downloads and access to our API.

    If you don’t need those things then you can cancel the renewal so you’re only here a month. Then later if you need an update or some support you can simply sign back up again at that point.

    You would indeed need to upgrade your membership to get access to all of our plugins and themes.
