Does 3.6 have major enough update to break things?

I am afraid to update to 3.6 as it might break things and it will be a pain to switch back. Is there major core changes that might end up breaking things like removal of major functions etc. Its not worth it for me to update if it ruins my site. Any major multisite changes I should worry about? Thanks for the intel. - Brashell

Hello there @Brashell, I hope you're well today!

Everytime WordPress gets updates, lots of small things change under the hood.
They always pay great attention to backwards compatibility and not breaking stuff, but there's always a small chance of minor incompatibilities.
Most plugins shouldn't have any issues.
My recommendation would be to wait a week before updating.
In that time most plugin developers should update their plugins if there are any inconsistencies.
WPMU-DEV plugins are being tested as we speak and any conflicts are always fixed within 24-48 hours of WordPress releases.

    I hope that helps!
