Domain mapping - should we make additional changes in Site Admin?

I have used Donncha's plugin for more than a year, and recently switched over to the WPMUDev Premium version.

A year ago, I saw in a few blog posts where they recommended making changes to a mapped blog's backend (Site Admin > Blogs > Edit) to basically rename any instance of blog4.my-wpmu-site.com to the mapped version (blog4.com, for example).

In http://my-wpmu-site.com/wp-admin/wpmu-blogs.php?action=editblog&id=4 , I find these fields:

Blog info (wp_blogs) -> Domain -> http://blog4.my-wpmu-site.com
Blog Options (wp_4_options) -> Siteurl -> http://blog4.my-wpmu-site.com
Blog Options (wp_4_options) -> Home -> http://blog4.my-wpmu-site.com
Blog Options (wp_4_options) -> Fileupload Url -> http://blog4.my-wpmu-site.com

QUESTION: Should they be all renamed to blog4.com or left as is?
